Creation of the parcel roadmap

How to create a digital delivery tour sheet with KOTscan, I click on the button “create delivery tour sheet”. I select the zone(s) I want to deliver to and click on the green button at the bottom corner of the screen to validate.

The list of the parcels to deliver within the selected zones appears. I select the parcels in my possessions and I can also search for particular parcels either by type of delivery; home delivery or predefined addresses; by name; by barcode or personal preference number by simply clicking on the barcode item at the top of the screen and then scan the barcode or the personal reference number. Once my parcels to deliver are selected, I click on the “finish” button. The list of my selected parcels appears together with the delivery resources on top and the total number of parcels I now have to deliver. If everything is alright, I can confirm. My digital delivery tour sheet was created successfully. I can now start with my delivery tour. When I click on the button “delivery tour sheet” the list of my parcel and the zones to be delivered appears.

For a home delivery, I click on the parcel I want to deliver. I can see the name of the recipient and it’s contact number. The code word associated with the parcel and what type of parcel it is. To contact the client, I click on the phone number. If I am able to reach the client on the phone before delivering the parcel, I click on the return button and add a comment. Return parcels can still be delivered by clicking on the parcel and clicking on the deliver button.

For a delivery at a predefined address, I click on the parcel I want to deliver. I can see the delivery addresses, and a list of all other parcels that need to be delivered to this address. If one of the parcels is not in my possession, I can remove it from my list by clicking on the little arrow on the right and by clicking on the “remove from the list” button. By adding a comment to give a brief explanation. To deliver a parcel, I click on the deliver button, I then scan the geolocated QR code that is placed at the predefined address location. I then select the parcels to deliver and click on the “deliver” button to confirm correct delivery. I will then see the delivery successful message on the screen.

To end a delivery tour, I click on the “finish” button at the top right corner of my screen. A summary then appears with the delivered parcels, the parcels returned back to the office warehouse. I finalize the end of my delivery tour by clicking on the “finish” button. Warning, do not forget to click the “finish” button at the end of the delivery door. This action is necessary to pass and update the information to my manager.
